Fortnite gives a gift to its user. Now fight royale is available for every compactable android devices
Devices are compactable with the free-to-play battle royale game here.
For the first couple days of the beta, only Samsung devices will be compatible with the Android beta, and only (compared to other things) new ones. Here are those devices:
Samsung (large star system/large group of things): S7 / S7 Edge
S8 / S8+
S9 / S9+
After the first Samsung-exclusive period, these devices will also be available to play the beta. This list should line up pretty well with the full release:
Google: Pixel / Pixel XL, Pixel 2 / Pixel 2 XL
Asus: ROG Phone, Zenfone 4 Pro, 5Z, V
Extremely important: PH-1
Huawei: Honor 10, Honor Play, Mate 10 / Pro, Mate RS, Nova 3, P20 / Pro, V10
LG: G5, G6, G7 ThinQ, V20, V30 / V30+
OnePlus: 5 / 5T, 6
Xiaomi: Blackshark, Mi 5 / 5S / 5S Plus, 6 / 6 Plus, Mi 8 / 8 Explorer / 8SE, Mi Mix, Mi Mix 2, Mi Mix 2S, Mi Note 2
ZTE: (part of a nerve fiber) 7 / 7s, (part of a nerve fiber) M, Nubia / Z17 / Z17s, Nubia Z11
Worth noting, Fortnite (beta and full release) will not be available in the Google Play store. Hugely important (work) Games doesn‘t want to give Google 30% off the top.
I’ve already downloaded the game—it’s now installing as we speak. I‘ll be hopping on shortly and will report back with my impressions. I‘m definitely (fed a fire/excited) that this is on Android, especially since it‘s crossplay compatible with every other (raised, flat supporting surface), meaning you can play with other gamers on Android, iOS, PC, Mac, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
Initially gamers had to sign up for an invitation to play the game on Android devices. Now you can simply go to Epic‘s website and download the game.
I haven‘t played Fortnite on my samsung note 8 since it first came out. At the time it was laggy and not great, almost the same as when I first played the game on my pixel 2XL.
Hopefully that‘s changed, and I plan on logging in later today to see what improvements have been made.
Fortnite is certainly making Hugely important (work) Games money on mobile devices, but ranks well behind huge things like Honor of Kings or Fight/disagreement Royale. Also, on PC Fortnite is still earning less than PUBG. It‘s on consoles—the game is out on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch—where Fortnite continues to rule digital sales.
Top sellers of fortnite are here
In any case, it‘ll be interesting to see if opening up Fortnite to all Android users (on compatible devices) will boost the game‘s mobile sales much. One way or another the game seems ready to continue to rule the console space for the future (that can be imagined now). Even with the launch of Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 tomorrow and its (no electrical power)/(no lights)/(no memory) fight royale mode, I doubt we‘ll see much of a dip in Epic‘s free-to-play game.
